Welcome students to our first week of our ocean adventures! I am Dr. Greely from the USF College of Marine Science. I look forward to meeting each of you during the first three days of the course here in St. Petersburg. My science research area has been primarily fishes from coastal to extreme environments, More recently I have been conducting research about ocean literacy and teaching about the oceans. We will explore the ocean as the planet's largest habitat and visit several science teams to discover the how and why of large scale ocean research.
